mmmmmmmmmnothing says summertime bettermmmmmm!!!

comfort food....

I just did a chipotle/BBQ sauce with some leftover pulled pork from my MD smoke that created a fantastic Sloppy Joe style Sanger. There's got to be a few ways to do it.

We were recently given a 5# chub of ground beef as a sample. Having know idea what to do with it we stuck it in our seco with half hickory and apple as a huge fatty. After bringing it up to temp our conundrum continued with what to do. We added tri-color pepper trinity some tomato sauce and various spices going for a more bloody Mary taste. Well we missed the bloody Mary thing but was the absolute best sloppy Joe I've ever had. Including my moms.

Haven't had a sloppy joe since I was a kid- gonna have to try that- thanks for the recipe!

And N8man.... :clap2:
