For some reason I had a craving for a griddled cheese sandwich for lunch. After checking what I had on hand, below is what I came up with. I had read that a local restaurant (Tom+Chee) that specializes in grilled cheese sandwiches uses a "garlic seasoning" on their sandwiches. Not knowing what that seasoning is, I grabbed the garlic pepper from the pantry to test out.
Basic ingredients: buttered bread, Black Forest ham, medium cheddar, and testing out some garlic pepper on one of them
Partially assembled:
Some butter flavored oil onto the Blackstone:
Cooking them up:
I love the golden crispy texture it creates:
Nearly done:
YUM!
I only wish I had a slice tomato to add to it and it would have been perfect.
I love my Blackstone griddle. It makes a mean griddle cheese!
Griddle on!
