My oasis

Just a 6X12 deck and pergola.
Had natural gas outside so I added the Webber gasser,
UDS and a small stick burner.
It's a great place to spend the day.

Bugs are not bad till the sun goes down. As long as you have fans moving the air, that keeps the bugs away.

A little contrast from Badgerjacob here - don't have as much space in the city. That's my Egg in the corner. My table is custom and we used a Hotel pan to make a sunken fire pit in the middle. Excuse that and the kegerator - neither of which are "Up to code"

My plan is something of that nature, just an out building to protect my toys and offer me a place to "relax". Plus, I can make new purchases, use them and make them look like I have owned them for a while before my wife notices.

Here is a shot of the patio/pool house area from last spring when we were just opening the pool...plywood covering steps to keep the cover level, clear solar thingy sitting on the water. Til now, I have been keeping the cookers in the garage and bringing them poolside thru the connecting screen porch. This spring, I will be removing most of the red brick chips, in the last pics, and making an outdoor cooking space. Wife is tired of my cookers so close to the pool when the nieces n nephews are running around.

The gasser now belongs to the wife's son. Sat for 3 years, never used.
