Must be nice to get those kind of prices. I was just thinking $6/lb wasnt bad but i guess that because it is very hard to find brisket of any sort around here.

Here prime is 13-15 per pound a a 13 lbs untrimmed brisket is around 60. It's probably good I don't live in the states. I'd be bbq's every night.

that's ridiculous I can get choice packers for 2.49 a pound at wally world.

I just paid $1.99 lb for a full packer here locally. This is the same small grocery store that had pork butts w/bone for .97 lb. This small local store seems to know what the heck folks like us are buying and I am now doing lots of other shopping there. Butcher is a real nice guy too.

That's why I use the Douglas Meat Market. Better price and not enhanced with other junk. Wish I could get em that cheap out here though. Those are some great prices!
