The Mrs asked for a Seafood Stir Fry for lunch today. It's 93 degrees here in Massachusetts today, but the temps aren't going to stop me. May make me sweat a bit over a hot griddle, but lunch must go on.
My local Market Basket has been marking down these packages of Seafood Chowder Mix for some reason. I keep buying 'em. Two packages go into this afternoon's stir fry plus some additional shrimp.
In addition to the seafood, today's ingredients are:
Shredded Cabbage
Mushrooms
Matchstick Carrots
Peppers
Snow Peas
Green Onion
Garlic
Sesame Oil
Soy Sauce
Oyster Sauce
Out onto the griddle with the seafood, carrots, peppers and mushrooms -
The cabbage and snow peas go on last as I don't really want to cook the cabbage, just warm it slightly and get it blended with the soy and oyster sauce -
And of course, the money shot of all ingredients mixed together -
Ready for serving -
I had to put mine in a taco -
There you have it, a fun to make and eat lunch. I think it took all of 10-12 minutes out on the griddle to make this. Veggie prep took longer.
Someday I may get back to using the Kamados, but for now the Blackstone is a fun new toy to cook on.
Thanks for checking out this post.
