Saturday lunch in Kansas City. Any recommendations?

Oklahoma Joe's is good, but in my opinion, is not quite as good as what everyone raves about.

I don't know what part of the city you'll be in in, but the first place on the top of your list should be Arthur Bryants, and not the one at the Legends by the racetrack. Avoid it like the plague, go to the original on Brooklyn ave.

Rosedale has some good BBQ as well.

If you're on the south side of the metropolitan, go Fiorellas Jack Stack in Martin City. While all of their restaurants are very good, the Martin City location has been there for nearly 40 years and has all of the character of a great sit down BBQ restaurant. Make sure you try the beans, slaw and onion rings there!

Olathe has a little hole in the wall BBQ place that isn't bad called Smokin Joe's

And of course I do a pretty good pulled pork, but we're closed today... sorry :)

BTW... If it's the Legends where you're at, you could try backfire, they're fairly good, not great, but good enough to go back a second time :)
