There doesn't seem to be any lump available locally here right now. I got some on order...in the meantime, can I use the royal oak bricks in my BGE? thats the only fuel available right now......

I've never tried them but I think the ash might be an issue. Maybe if your not trying too slow of cooks??? Not sure though
 
I have accidentally bought this and ended up mixing them with regular lump. For steaks and burgers, you'll be fine. Just more ash to clean out.
 
I wish I still l still lived in NS so i could do that. In Labrador now and home hardware has nothing....there is no Canadian tire, walmart, nothing....I used to get maple leaf from Rona in Hali, I miss that....
