$100 to enter

$500 first place

not a KCBS event, but still worthwhile.

BBQ Mafia took 1st place last year, and are looking to defend the title.

Hawthorne Day is similar to the Cresskill Red White and Que, as far as vendors & bands. There are things for the kids (laser tag, hay mountain, petting zoo).

Good for a family day out (if thats your thing).
