After a long week of evening football weight room and conditioning finally got to cook again. Got some Ribeyes on a sweet sale $7.99#. Seasoned up well and on to the Stampede. Extreme smoke for 50 min 120* IT. Then reverse seared in my CI skillet on the gasser to 140* for a good medium. First time cooking mine perfect (always overshoot ). Loving the cooker. I am using Lumberjack competition mix. They put out decent smoke, but nothing like Hickory.

Looks good, try the charhickory , I blend some in with hickory, it really puts a good flavor on stuff. Smokes to beat the band if running it straight lol

Joedy, Fancy is putting out some great food there brother!! That sear on the cast iron is the way to go, even, and not burnt! Just delicious!!:thumb::thumb:

Quick question here about rib eyes. Has anyone used oak ridges brisket rub on rib eyes? I'm curious if it would.be good or maybe to strong since it's meant for a bigger cut of beef.

You seem to be in tasty looking control, what's weight room football?
Probably didn't phrase it properly. The football team working out in the weight room. We spend all summer lifting and conditioning. Right now we are just trying to figure out when we will get to start.
