So after a disastrous, epic-ly failed attempt at camping for Father's day, a trip that comes in second worst only after a camping trip that ended with my brother being attacked by a bear in Alaska, my consolation prize is some ribs. I'll detail the failed trip in another thread, as in retrospect it is humorous. So far, this is what I have. I'll update as the day progresses.

Got some baby backs, my home made rub and my daughter to brighten the day. Using an upright water smoker, and modifying my style a little to see if I get moister ribs (leaving the silver skin on)

Yeah, she sure brings a smile to my face. Here is the finished product. My wife made some broccoli bacon cheddar cheese side dish and rhubarb strawberry crisp as well. (I lost motivation for pictures once the meat was done. Way to hungry haha)

I wrapped these and used a little honey and real butter at the wrapping, then some of my home made BBQ sauce on top. I use just a little, and actually prefer my ribs dry but my wife likes them sauced.
