Recommendations for a dead simple knife sharpener

I just opened a brand new Wenger slicer that I got for next to nothing.
Felt it up good.
I like to do that to new gir...knives.
Not happy with the edge and no time so used the chefschoice and it is now sharpie sharpie barking sharp!!
