We had some more sandwiches tonight. Managed to snap a quick shot of it before I dug in. Loaded up 1/4# of the pulled beef, sauteed up some onion, garlic, sweet pepper, Kung pao chili & mushrooms in butter for a topping... threw on some mustard and cheese. Good eats... This is on my menu from now on!!! :thumb::becky:

wow that looks great, never heard of almond wood being used, light tasting?

Its an amazing flavor. I am used to pimento, & oak (barrels). This stuff is lighter and quite nutty. Also notice that the meat doesn't get as dark, and it gives a great smoke ring. Ive never used pecan but I hear its very similar.
