Like many PK360 or PK Original owners, I’ve looking for a better solution for my temp probes cables than running them under the lid or through the top exhaust vent. Following the instructions of a poster on another board, I drilled a hole with a step drill bit on the indirect side of the capsule, just below the cooking grate (photos below). From there it was easy to install a grommet I bought online for about 10 bucks. I can now easily run 4 cables through the port without having to deal with them being in the way when I open the lid. From my perspective, this has been game-changing! You can also see I’ve made the oft-talked about mod to use the Billows fan by ThermoWorks.
