How is the flavor in the La Caja China cooker vs smoked?

La Caja sells a smoke pistol to add smoke into the box. Anyone try the smoke pistol with their box?

There's no smoke flavor, but with the injection, rub and sauce we didn't really miss it or think that it was necessary.

Wow, that was a nice cook and good to see rain cookery.

If you're going to be cooking in the NW you've got to be willing to get wet!
