...buttermilked chickenwings that is.

Rubbed the wings with Tony Chachere's,rubbed them with Phlour, dunked them into the butt' milk and coated them with a mixture of Phlour and rub.

Smoked them for about a hour...maybe a hour and a halPh,sprinkled some Buffalo style sauce over them with some chopped herbs.

Sauce was a mixture made out of Carolina Treet (GTR brought me that),ketchup, butter and red pepper Phlakes.

Not what I expected from the thread title!

Chix looks great though. I've never tried a "breading" on the grill before.. looks like it got nice and crisp for you? Great texture in the last pics!

:hail:

Great cook Phu - love that Carolina Treet stuPh!

Maybe it's blasPhemy what I did with the Carolina Treet but it sure tastes good!

Worked Phine...I think the Phlour absorbes the juices from the chicken creating a dry crust.

Wasn't sure I wanted to see the pics after reading the title! :icon_blush:

Not sure what my eyes were going to see, but I am certainly inspired by the pics and your effort!

Food that good looking should not be in HD. I was perfectly happy before hitting this thread 3 minutes ago, now I am starving for some wickedly good wings.

You nailed that Phubar, and worse you've got me scheming how I can sneak some wings on the grill this weekend and give this a shot.
