Fired up the Kettle with some Stubbs and cherry chunks for the Asian Chicken appetizer TD going on and decided to theme the entire dinner.
Followed these 3 recipes pretty loosely...
Chinese chicken wangs - http://wolfepit.blogspot.com/2014/01/pok-pok-chicken-wings.html
Chinese spares - http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2009/07/grilling-chinese-style-spare-ribs-recipe.html
Chinese buffet style green beans - http://allrecipes.com/recipe/chinese-buffet-green-beans/
Coated the ribs and wangs in sesame oil and dusted with Chinese 5 Spice.
Threw them on the Kettle.
Time to glaze the wangs...
Wangs are done! And delicious!!!!
Ribs are ready for saucing...
Sauced for the fist time...sauced them twice about 15 minutes apart before pulling.
Ready for slicing!
Sliced!
Plated!
Destroyed!
Everything had great flavor and tasted as authentic as a Chinese buffet!
