Pastrami on the WSM!

Going to have to try pastrami, those birds look really good.

I have no prior experience with pastrami. So I didn't know what to expect. Followed the directions so if this is pastrami its pretty darn good!. I'll add pics of my sandwich whenever I fix it :thumb:

Yeah buddy! I call this a very successful cook. The wife and I devoured the Cornish hens. Went to wally world this evening to buy more they were sold out! Was gonna pick up a couple double packs!

Do you guys prefer eating pastrami cold or hot? Figure I'll wait on the sandwich for breakfast. Might fire the black stone up!! We'll see!

Pastrami is way better eaten hot. It is best when sliced very thin and piled high.

I'm gonna slice thin, and cook in a CI skillet, regular skillet or my griddle with a little butter.

Man, I've got to try this. I feel a Black Ops or Carne Crosta-crusted pastrami is in my very near future!
