I will be ranking this event!

Shouldn't be any more difficult than a Sam's Club event to rank. I was told they don't have even 40 teams yet. Kinda blows a hole in Cate's theory that we're all in it for the cash.

We just signed up for this one and that will be our last event on the west coast before heading out to St. Louis. Movers come tomorrow so it's gonna be a looooong few weeks for us!!

On Facebook they said that they had something like 96 teams already signed up.

It will be interesting to see how many teams they get. They planned it the same weekend as 2 contests in California, so a lot of CA teams will be going to those events.

Have not paid any attention to their numbers. I figured for the money and location they would have 100 at the drop of a hat and maybe 200.

Not sure if they checked their six or just figured that $100K+ event would bring everyone in CA to them, but they scrwed up going up a 3rd year charity event that CA teams wanna support and then Sams and also Boulder...Never understood why promoters dont do a little more due dilligence, but like I said maybe they figured everyone would Follow The Money...

From what I've heard...it was hard to nail down a date that was available and this seemed to be one of the only ones in Vegas.

For those of you want to be a rock star...this is a Sat/Sun event and not a Fri/Sat event.

We'll be in Conroe instead. Besides, who needs Vegas when you have Habitual Smokers...hopefully next door:wink:

IAH is substantially closer to Conroe than Hobby, if your serious.

Continental / United probably goes direct for a decent price.

Southwest ends up being a little more than half what it would cost me to fly AA, Cont., or United and I get a direct flight.
