The first drum I built to sell, I was asking $150 for it which covered the parts, cooking the drum out and sandblasting and left very little profit for the labor I put into it. The guy I sold it to was so excited/happy with it when I delivered it, he gave me $250 for it and told me not to argue with him...so he pretty much set the bar...
Of course, I don't just slap them together like some... solid welded basket with basket hook, welded nipples and ball valve, all stainless steel hardware, 2 Weber grates...not the cheap knock off ones...and I've put together a manual including my favorite recipes and my phone # for 24 hr tech support...
