It snowed here Thursday night, then was back in the 70s yesterday.

Does gumbo count? Decided to make some shrimp and sausage gumbo on Sunday since it was 36 degrees when I woke up. Made the shrimp stock from scratch, smoked some Boar's Head hot sausage (since I ran out of Andouille sausage and used a little bit of garlic (next to Tony Chachere's) to make up for it. Sorry the pics are so lousy. I was trying to juggle cooking and taking pics at the same.
