New Years eve rib roast

That's a great looking rib roast and UDS. Looking at your post it occurred to me that some smokers may be better at getting the job done when it's cold than others. Since your UDS doesn't look like it has a door on the lower half (like a WSM) it would seem that it would be better at holding heat. I'm sure this has probably been discussed before but it would be great to get a few opinions....:-D

Colt, UDS's do not need doors. If you have not done so, read the UDS thread. I had asked Mista about a door and he said it was not necessary.
