So finally had chance to go to our fab shop to see what was laying in scrap yard. There was a 24x72 and 30x72 pipe both sch 40. Problem is wall thickness is .68” which decreases ID a lot. I dont want to go 30” and only getting 22.5” out of 24” pipe sucks but its free. Also at my design of 54” CC this puts door around 200lbs as this pipe is 170-200lb/ft. Thats crazy. I dont like look of counterweight. Even though it is free is it worth the trouble?

Also had a piece of 6” ID pipe that would be nice for smoke stack
