I have the opportunity to purchase a FEC500. It's been sitting for 2 years but everything is working. I just got the serial number but can't call Cookshack to see how old the smoker is. I do know it has an IQ-4 controller. I can get it for $8000 mounted on the factory trailer and a Metro C5 food warmer. It was used for training at an Air Force base before the owner bought it. Can't imagine it having many hours on it. Like I said earlier he bought it 2 years ago and never used it. I know the stainless is shiny and from pictures I've found on the internet I'm guessing that is may be a 2010-2013 not really sure when the went with the different finish. I've attached a few pictures for review.
Can someone familiar with this smoker tell me if the have an idea how old this smoker is?
Does the price seem pretty good for this smoker/warmer considering it has very little use?
Also what major thing should I be looking for that would be bad?
Trying to get answers as quick as possible before it is sold.
