I had given up on spares a long time ago. Always seemed tough. Tried them again along with two racks of baby backs. After a heavy dousing of pork rub (South Shall Rise) on top of yellow mustard, put the ribs in the Smokemaster offset. Temps went up to 350. Thought they would be tough. Foiled with butter and brown sugar after 3.5 hours. Here's the results:
