Sourdough bread. lunchman always has killer sourdough posts. I actually helped research the no yeast no sugar starter and got out of The Bride’s way. I helped stir when it got thick provided encouragement when it got thin. She followed a dough recipe from The Bread Machine and let it do the kneading and rising. Placed in fridge in cast iron loaf pan overnight. Let it sit out about 1.5 hours this morning and baked at 400 for 28 minutes. IT was 192-197. Dump right out, sliced easily then added butter, bacon and jalapeño jelly to mine she had butter and honey. Sourdough Bread, make you some, like lunchman.
Today the sourdough starter is 7 days old
