Bargain bin held a gem today. Big Porterhouse. Rubbed til opaque with oil, then a kosher salt layer and sitting unchilling on the pbp. Sides stuffed baby Bella's and a broccoli cheese bacony unhealthy baked potato.

Wow nice size filet on that! Even when I find a steak that can be labeled porterhouse they don’t have nice big filet like that.

I like to find "tbones" which are really porters. You feel like you got a deal big time.
 
Took it to 131° lowest temp.wrapped tight in foil for about 6-7 minutes. Juicy steak and some bonus dipping juice

Still wish I took typing class in high school, but at the time that class was for girls, just like Home Ec class where they taught some "cooking".

Guess the girls had all the good classes back in the day.

What happened? Now I do all the cooking and love it.

Wish I could type with 8 fingers though. :mad:
