The hot brown is a sandwich created in 1926 at the Brown Hotel in Louisville Kentucky. They still serve them today. If you are ever in Louisville, swing by The Brown Hotel and try the real deal (Bobby Flay lost a throw down here). They are as authentic to the region as bourbon.
My take isn't as good but it ain't bad. For the Mornay sauce I made a roux with butter and flour and then added milk, Parmesan cheese, egg, and heavy cream. Thin sliced bread topped with turkey, sliced tomato, sauce, sliced bacon, and baked for 10mins. Thanks for looking.

One of these days I will be a better photographer. I tend to do things spur of the moment and try to catch pics along the way. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

I went to a Conf in Louisville last spring The first place I went to was the Brown Hotel for the Hot Brown It was awesome Yours looks really good too

That looks awesome! This is definitely something I've always wanted to try, but it just hasn't worked out quite yet. Might just have to make it myself

Looks very tasty. I tried my first hot brown at Patti’s 1880s Settlement in Grand Rivers, Ky. A month later the place caught fire and was bulldozed.

Just had one Monday from Gibby's in Frankfort after visiting Buffalo Trace Distillery.
EXCELLENT!
