Soaked the halibut pieces in equal parts good soy sauce, dark sesame oil, mirin and maple syrup, with some smashed scallions.

Hot grilled in a basket on the PK.

Plated with grilled teriyaki yellow squash, smashed baby potatoes and Brazilian cheese rolls.

Wow, i have to give that a try! Would never have thought to try Asian flavours with halibut. I'm an east coast boy. I've always had my halibut or cod with salt and pepper (heavier on the salt), or already salted and you have to soak it out or boil it. I still am a bit of a purist and prefer it that way, but you made me want to try this. Thanks for posting!
