Jack's Shadetree ??

I'm slow so I have to ask what is the Jack's Shadetree??
I have read on another forum the results But what is it?
Is it an Invitational also? I never heard of it until yesterday?
Does anyone have the rules? Is it a separate contest.

Its supposed to be an 'amateur' contest, chicken and ribs only. As far as I know its an open contest.

I asked about it while at the Jack, and it's apparently a "first come first served" type of thing. I believe all you have to do is get on their list and they take the first 30 or so teams that apply.
