Took some brisket to my neighbor this evening. Turns out he just cut down a peach tree at his girlfriend's house and was wondering what he was going to do with the wood.%$50 I'll be getting a load of it tomorrow.

A lady at the hardware store says her family owns an apple orchard about eight miles away and I can go by any time and get a load of apple wood as well.

A coworker of mine also has a load of pecan but I actually have to pay for it. $50 for a truckload.

Now if I can get a load of hickory I'll be set for the next year. Post oak would be nice but it's pretty rare this far north.

Looks like your covered all the way around. Be careful about treating one like the other. For instance, Peach will put some serious dark color on the meat etc. Adjust your amounts from a little to more.

Congratulations!
