It's fryin' time again, my southern roots took over

After a long weekend fixin' Korean ribs, and pepper stout beef on the smoker, my Virginia roots came a callin'. Took out some Black Sea bass and Lane snapper we caught over the winter in the Gulf (ask the Florida brethren how good they are!). Went from Drake's fry mix to egg wash to Panko. Dropped the steak fries in the deep fryer, and then the fish. In the meantime, griddle fried some corn bread (cuz my sainted Grammaw didn't believe in that deep fried mush some call hush puppies). Served up with some Cole slaw and home made tarter sauce (fresh dill from the garden). As much as I love adult beverage, lemonade just seemed like the right thing to do. Not a lot of pron, just a picture of my dinner. Thanks for looking.

Good food there. Just good food. Sea bass and snapper are up there with the best fish ever. I feel sorry for folks who don't like fried fish. The poor souls just never had it fixed right.
