I started by mixing up some sourdough tortillas.
Cooked em up.
And cut, then fried the chips.

Chips tossed in the 12" Lodge pan and white cheddar got melted on top.

Meanwhile, some Chorizo went on the 26 to grab some Hickory smoke.
Then chopped and fried in a CI pan on the grill.

Toppings on the chips included cheese sauce, smoked/fried Chorizo, fresh roasted green chiles, red onion, garden jalapenos and tomatoes. Sour cream on the side and fermented jalapeno sauce and beer as side dishes...

Thanks for looking.

I've cut up and fried flour tortillas for chips. Definitely different, but still tortillas. I'd take a plate of those and several servings of the sides. :p

Nothing like chorizo nachos on home fried chips, and yours look great! :clap2:

But, to answer your question, I may have to disagree - what you posted is not a nacho, but nachos. If it had been a single chip dressed with the fixings, then I believe it would be a nacho.

nacho = singular
nachos = plural

nacho + nacho = nachos
2 nachos - one nacho = nacho

And so on. :wink:
