Is the BBQ Guru's Onyx smoker closer to the market?

Great discussion. I know the guru customer service is top notch already. Now on deciding on a vendor, Big Pappa looks to be a stand up company and individual as well. I am going to order the Onxy soon but am still looking for the cover because of the weather.

Brethren - I cant get enough good answers about either. So many opinions. It seems that the build on both gets questioned as does the paint. Both seem to cook well so I guess that is the bottom line. Anyone else care to chime in? I am ready to make a purchase soon.

Seen one cook up close all of last weekend at a comp/ I was really impressed with the quality of the unit as well how efficient that thing was on fuel.
