So we compromised and cooked what she wanted. Chopped a few of my remaining 2021 Hatch Green Chile added Vidalia Onion, evoo and seasoning. Into cast iron #3 close to coals to sweat. Fresh ground chuck from a recent chuck roast sale made into 1/3# patties.
No bun for me half bun for her.
Baby it's Hot outside

Looks good.
Did you sauté or cook down the chile/onion mixture, or keep it on the raw side?
I assume you put the chile/onions on your burgers.

Yes simmered then offset whilst cooking burger.
