Can you explain why you always put eight pieces of chicken in?
It's just a thing with me... 6 pieces is just enough for the judges but does not include the table judge. When it comes to the other meats, if two stick together they are considered one so if I put in eight there is no chance of DQ'ing because of that.
Maybe our thighs are on the large side, but we struggle to get 6 pieces in each container without completely smashing them in.
I try to trim the thighs to about the same size... I'll try and post a pic of our last turn-in box of chicken when I get home.
