How good is Royal Oak Premium hardwood briquettes $4/bag ?

Sale ends today - my local Menards has Royal Oak 18 lb. Premium Hardwood Charcoal Briquets" for $4.00 bag (.22/lbs) after 11% rebate ($4.49 w/o). Note the odd spelling "Briquets" on the bag. This is the best briquette deal around here at the moment. SKU: 6193320.

Any experience with this? How is the quality?

Pretty good for the price. They smoke quite a bit at start up, but no bad flavors in the food. Burn hot.

They’re ok. At $4 per bag get a few and try them out. I’d spend a little more and get the Royal Oak All Natural briquettes from Walmart. I think they’re $7.88 per bag. Really good stuff.
