Just joined up so here to introduce myself.
I'm married, retired and live in Angier NC.
I got my first grill when I got married 42 years ago. It was a square, covered charcoal grill that produced a lot of burgers and chicken before the bottom burned out. I upgraded to a gas grill with lava rocks. Anyone else remember what happens if you try to cook a pork butt over those rocks? When I got the fire under control I finally did produce something edible. Now I have at least a dozen grills and smokers but cook mostly on a 22 inch Weber kettle.
I have been reading on this forum for at least a year and finally decided it was time to join up.

Welocme to the asylum!

Take a look around and if you have questions please feel free to contact the moderator team or our senior members. Their names are color coded so you can recognized them.

Also, each section of the forum has a description that you can use to figure out where to post.

Finally, please review our rules! They are pretty straight forward, but looking at them up front may help to eliminate problems later :-D

Oh! Don't forget to add your name to the Brethren Map, located at the top of this Cattle Call forum.

Most important, have fun and join in our conversations and share and learn!
