If I'm correct, based on the grain pattern, the meat looks like it's flap/skirt, not flank....
 
It looks like skirt, but I could eat it right out of the marinade, it looks that good!
I am quitting my old marinade. This may be my new one,
although I'd like to try a flank w/ just S+P.. not sure.

Just looked at the Sweet potato recipe - you don't have to parboil and dirty a pot, they cook pretty fast uncovered on the grill, sliced them lengthwise w/ skin on. But Hey, I'm no Bobby Flay!
