I just picked up a dozen CAB brisket flats for $2.29 per lb. I normally cook whole packers, but at that price I'll cook flats.

I can't say that I blame you. Great price and there is little trim and waste on the flats, so you did well!

I'd say that's a deal. $7.99 for a flat around here. Although can get CAB packers for 2.69
