Got my first trophy!!

Last year I started doing comps at Loveland Loves BBQ. That is the comp that hoked me. Call in Brisket.
Fast forward to this year and Loveland again. Did ok in most catagories except pork (overcooked).
Decided at the last minute to enter everything else. I did armadillo eggs. Got third place with them!!!!!!!!:biggrin: I could not believe it when they called my name. Brought tears of joy to my eyes.
Learned about them from this board so thanks to all for the insights.
