Saw this on amazon. Good price if you don't want to make your own ring.

That is a GOOD price - I'm tempted, but there's only two reviews, and one is not very good at all. Anyone else have one of these?

I didn't see that until you mentioned it. Usually I check but saw the price and just posted.
At least the bad review was commented from customer service and seems like they want to take care of his is issue and said it should have had holes drilled.
They have a stainless version for $85.

Same on here with better reviews.

I have no real problem with the ring although I know some people want a tighter fit like the CB. The main problem I have is I know the motors are junk. If you want to spin something like a good size turkey the cheapo motors struggle, can't handle off balanced loads well and just don't last.

What is nice is that the motor brackets are pretty much universal so you can buy better motors for it.

Bought the Stainless one, seems to be working well on the Jimmy, nice tight fit to the stainless pot, made 6 chickens so far. I also bought a one grill DC motor for camping.

What would be a good rugged roti motor? I've been thinking about a roti for the Santa Maria on our new Klose. It would have to be a bigger commercial grade unit, but it would be nice if it could do double duty on the UDS and Kettle with a simple hardware changeout.

This will be a good fit for you, it's strong and will fit any spit rod that sizes down to 5/16. You'll want a minimum 1/2" spit for the Santa Maria but it down sizes to fit the motor. http://www.onegrill.com/1_2_inch_rotisserie_spit_rods_s/244.htm
