It's hard to wrong with Leg Quarters.. they are my favorite part of the chicken (Next to the liver that is)
I usually make a pretty simple rub on them (Paprika, Chilli Powder, Onion Powder Garlic Powder, Salt, Pepper, red pepper flakes) I normally do them directly over the coals for 30-40 minutes, 90% of that time is skin side up. The last 5 minutes I brush on some BBQ Sauce so it has some time to firm up. If I do not make it for any party people alwys ask where it is.
It comes out so well over the direct I have not tried to make them any other way.
