Got a half moon griddle from Santa for my classic. Seasoned yesterday so virgin run today. Had a pound of ground so I made 2 half pound balls seasoned with bbq rub and breadcrumbs. Got the griddle up to 400, put a couple of pats of butter, put them on and smashed em down with a cast iron skillet. 4 minutes a side, moved them over, more butter and toasted the buns. Came out great!

Yes! Puts a nice crust on the burger. Easy to clean too! Just scrape and oil a little. Next up, filets to about 115-120 then a quick sear!
