Thank you! Combination of an "off the shelf rub", kicked up with a few of my own favorite spices. I used Hickory Chunks distributed throughout the lump.

Hi all, my first pron to post. Took some flat cherry coke, apple cider vinegar and injected this bad boy. Turned out really well, although I'm not confident the flavor of the cherry coke actually did anything. It was a bit of an experiment admittedly!

15 1/2 hours later the egg (BGE) hatched this beauty.

Never really paid attention I suppose, and feel a little silly now :redface:, but yes, mine was a picnic as well.

I inappropriately called it a "butt" and it's not. I've always called the shoulder in general a butt, not sure why, guess that's how it was explained to me. Either way, lesson learned.

Would love to be able to say I just turned it on it's side and it fell off the bone already pulled LOL, but wasn't the case. Placed there after a beer or twelve too many.
