First Long Drive First Big Cook on Just completed 600 Gallon Build

Ok Drove 6 Hours from Jonesboro to McComb, Mississippi to cook for my Family reunion me and my dad finished the Build on Thursday and We left on Friday. Ok now the cook 22 racks of ribs, 4 butts, 1 brisket, 1 turkey, 60 pounds of chicken, hotdogs and still had a lot of room to spare in the main chamber.. we also cooked a lot of sides in the upright beans, peas, everything basically. Didn't get any plated pics because it was demolished as soon as we sat it on the table.. Truck is in the picture for Size reference lol

And pic of the fire and this is the best pic I have of the food getting close to done.. Everything turned out great! Learned a lot abt cooking on this monster. It gets hot and just keeps chugging along.. It has some hotspots I used to my advantage..

All in all I learned a lot this weekend.. Family really enjoyed the food.. Doing it all over again in Huntsville, AL this upcoming weekend.. Will be posting more pics of this weekend..
 
I went through about 20 sticks cooking for about 7 hours.. adding 2 to 3 sticks every hour or a little longer.. ambient temp was hot
 
You and the Beast did great, I can just imagine your son thinking how the Beast will be his one day. Beautiful job on the cook and the cooker, thanks for posting this as well as the creation of the beast.
