About 10 days ago I brought home a 20x36 LSG smoker. I also bought the fire management box, to fit inside the firebox.

Talk about nice. I didn't get the propane assist, so the fire management box kind of acts like a charcoal chimney starter. A handful of charcoal makes it quick enough to get a fire going.

As you can see in the pictures, it also leaves plenty of room to preheat a couple splits. This, plus the fact it keeps the ashes together for easy clean up makes it well worth it.

And let me tell you, the 20" smokers make dialing in the thin blue smoke so incredibly easy!

Yes, the fire is lit in this picture, I promise.

So it makes a good cooker even better? Sounds like a winner.

My LSG 24” offset cabinet smoker uses about half as much wood now with the fire management box. I was really shocked on how much it cutdown my wood consumption. Once it gets to 275 it purrs right along. That’s with me generally splitting my logs in half.
