good job captain ron. thanks for the magaritas friday night. my team name got meassed up, it's listed as my name larry stitz but should have been grillin' fools. looks like princeton is going to have nice weather.

We had a great time at this competition. The facilities were nice (they even had indoor restrooms with hot water ). They took great care of the teams. We had folks coming by regularly to see if we needed anything. Even though the weather on Friday and Friday night felt more like October we made the rounds with frozen margaritas (we were pretending that it was summer) and met a whole bunch of new people including the Grillin' Fools (nice hat, BTW!). We were parked next to Chef's Gone Grillin' (Chef Jeff and Chef Gary). These guys are chefs (doh!) and culinary instructors at the Fox Valley Technical College. They are great guys and we had a lot of fun with them. Their spot didn't have much flat space so we graciously let them put their fire pit in our space :-D so we had time to talk while sittiing close to the fire. It was great to see them get three calls!
Thanks all, I was not happy with some of our turn ins but I guess when its your day :biggrin: I really want to thank the teams that showed up for our local contest.They had several teams from Minnesota and Iowa along with Ron and the Illinios teams.I guess next year I better pay a return trip to a few contests out of Wi.
