Wanted to update this and share my UDS build. Things went pretty smoothly given all the forum / facebook input that I got (sorry for the cross-post for those in the UDS group).
I took it for a test spin on the weekend and it went pretty well. There was a bit of leakage at the wheels which I need to seal off with some high temp silicon. I also had a bit of temperature control issues to work around (or at least get used to) but I'm confident I'll get it worked out.
Anyway, very happy with how it turned out!
