Mother's Day dinner - smoking a chicken on the smoker. Rubbed with secret family recipe; smoking over a combination of hickory and mesquit chips, soaked in a little water, with some beer and a coupla' shots of Jack. Oh yeah, and some fresh, crushed garlic
I'll throw a pound of bacon on the smoker for the last hour or so.
Peel all that off the smoker when done, cut up the bacon and chicken, and lay that down on a fresh bed of greens with some red and green pepper, cucumber, fresh tomato, top with your favorite dressing, and voila! A great spring time dinner. Oh yeah, some garlic bread on the side. Mouth is watering already.
