Daytona 500 Prime rib

Some have superbowl parties, I have a Daytona 500 party. We call it redneck christmas and it is tradition to cook a Prime. Started out with a 15lb rib roast coated with a mix of kitchen bouquet and Worcestershire sauce. Then seasoned with a mix of kosher salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder.

One hour on smoke setting on the traeger then 225 degrees until the internal temp hit 135. Rested for 20 minutes and enjoyed

The Prime was awesome but Dale Jr. winning Daytona was even better!

Wowee looks great. I swore off PR after OD'ing on cooking/eating it 3-4 times for the holidays but these pics just brought me back again :heh:
 
Don't you mean Daytona 5000? I sat down at 1 o'clock and started watching and they stopped, I was flippin channels at 8:30pm and dam thing was still a goin!!
